304/304L Stainless Steel Rectangular Tubing
304 is considered the most versatile, and most widely used, and is available in more forms and finishes than any other grade of stainless steel. 304 Stainless Steel is the ideal grade to use for any of your form or welding projects. 304-grade stainless steel is commonly used in industrial, architectural, and transportation applications.
316/316L Stainless Steel Rectangular Tubing
316 stainless steel contains a higher proportion of molybdenum, which increases its corrosion and temperature resistance. These attributes make 316 steel particularly well-suited for harsh and corrosive outdoor applications. As a low-carbon version of 316 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel has a slightly lower tensile strength and yield strength but is more amenable to the welding process.
The stainless steel grades have:
304, 304L, 316, 316L, 316H, 316Ti, 317L, 321, 347/347H, 904L, 254SMO/S31254, 309/309S, 310/310S, 409, 430, 439, 2205, S32750, S32760
