Stainless exhaust tubing is produced in a welded process, with various sizes and lengths, our tubing surface can be mill finishes, bright annealed and polished finishes, to bring a bright appearance and smooth surface, exhaust pipes are easy to fabricate with and easily MIG or TIG welded to ensure a secure and durable connection, all stainless steel tubes for cars manufactured by us pass numerous inspections to comply with constantly growing external and internal quality requirements, motor vehicles requires special attention to quality standards inspiring us to consider every aspect of pipe processing for cars and checking on materials.
Seam stainless steel tubes are the perfect solution for exhaust systems, 304L stainless steel tubing and provide remarkable durability by combining excellent physical properties with a remarkable resistance to corrosive agents found in automotive exhaust emissions. 304 tube is the most cost-effective grade of nonmagnetic stainless steel for general applications.

304/304L Stainless Steel Exhaust Tubing
Grade 304 stainless steel is the most common austenitic stainless steel. It contains high nickel content that is typically between 8 and 10.5 percent by weight and a high amount of chromium at approximately 18 to 20 percent by weight. Other major alloying elements include manganese, silicon, and carbon. The remainder of the chemical composition is primarily iron. The high amounts of chromium and nickel give 304 stainless steel excellent corrosion resistance; for those reasons, they are used in high-quality and lifetime warranty exhaust systems. 304L is a low carbon version of 304 grade.
409 Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipe
409 is the perfect grade of stainless steel for use in automotive applications where visual appeal is not a top priority. For this reason and its durability against gas corrosion, 409 is most commonly used in truck exhaust systems, agricultural equipment, and heat and gas turbine exhaust mufflers.
Quality
Exhaust tubing is tested to ASTM and customer fabrication requirements. Tubing is 100% eddy current tested, and destructive tests are performed at regular intervals. Incoming raw material is inspected and must conform to our rigid standards.
Why is the Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipe?
The role of the exhaust pipe is to exhaust the exhaust gas to the engine, purify the exhaust gas and play a certain role in muffling the sound. The temperature of the exhaust gas is generally 300-400 degrees Celsius, some even close to 1000 ℃, the closer the engine temperature will be higher. Gas continuously from the engine to the output involves the concept of an exhaust back pressure, exhaust back pressure is the gas output resistance, which can also be understood as the gas pressure on the pipe wall, in general, 1.0 liter displacement of about 25kpa or so, if you reach 1.6 liters, it is in the 40kpa or so, with different displacements, different power of the back pressure of the engine is different. In low temperatures or after parking, the temperature of the exhaust pipe decreases, and a large amount of water will be gathered in the muffler; the pH value of the condensate is 8-9, which is weakly alkaline, and this kind of condensate has a corrosive effect on the exhaust pipe. Therefore, the material of the exhaust pipe needs to have good stability at high temperatures, high-temperature oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, hot and cold fatigue and good processing performance.
FAQ
1. Prepare tools and materials, including exhaust cleaner, protective eyewear, gloves, and mask.
2. Remove the exhaust pipe, using a jack and wrench.
3. Soak the exhaust pipe in a special cleaner for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
4. Use a brush to gently scrub the inside of the exhaust pipe to remove carbon and impurities.
5. Flush the exhaust pipe, using plenty of water, do not use a high-pressure water gun.
Stainless steel exhaust pipe can be bent, but you need to pay attention to the pipe diameter, wall thickness and bending radius. Bending methods include mandrel bending, rotary bending, compression bending, roller bending, and so on. When bending stainless steel pipe, avoid the problem of kickback. In ordinary life, the installation of a 90-degree bend exhaust pipe needs to be careful so as not to affect the airflow.
